ABOUT DAVID

David is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience as an actor, director, writer, and producer, including over 200 television episodes with franchise hits such as the Emmy Award Winning shows Wizards of Waverly Place with Selena Gomez and How I Met Your Mother. David created, wrote, and produced the Netflix #3 worldwide kids and family animation show A Tale Dark and Grimm, which was also nominated for an Emmy.

David has also co-starred in major studio feature films such as Grown Ups with Adam Sandler and Kevin James, Mall Cop II with Kevin James; and starred with Dennis Quaid in Reagan as the young Reagan. In addition to his acting credits, in 2017, David shifted into the director’s chair with This is the Year, a coming-of-age rom-com executive produced by Selena Gomez. Most recently, David directed the family mystery adventure film Monster Summer, released in October 2024 and starring Oscar-winning actor Mel Gibson and rising star Mason Thames (of the hit Blumhouse movie Black Phone and lead of the live action How to Train Your Dragon.

David is a co-founder of Novo Inspire Studios, an emerging leader of producing family friendly content. Novo has delivered $50 million in productions to the entertainment market over the last three and half years.
