Novo Media Group is a film and television development and production company that seeks to tell powerful stories marked by timeless themes. We intend to transform entertainment to challenge and inspire broad audiences.
Novo Media Group was founded by two former child actors, brothers David and Lorenzo Henrie. Having hundreds of television episodes, dozens of studio and independent films, and multiple Emmy Awards between them, the brothers are seeking to utilize their close industry relationships with actors and production specialists to tell stories that entertain, educate, and elevate audiences.
Novo Media Group’s first two projects — the Netflix animated series A Tale Dark and Grimm and the young adult feature film This Is the Year (produced by Selena Gomez) — premiered in 2021. Since then, Novo has released their family adventure film Monster Summer, directed by David Henrie and starring Mel Gibson, Kevin James, Mason Thames, and Lorraine Bracco.
Another production for Netflix, No Place for Monsters, is currently in production.
